Designed in collaboration with Spanco Lighting, Ahmedabad, Nebula developed for the dining and seating environments of premium cafés and restaurants. The project explored the intersection of lighting, hospitality, and product strategy, combining user research with an understanding of the commercial realities of architectural lighting. The objective was to create a luminaire that was both visually distinctive and commercially viable. Nebula balances sculptural presence with functional illumination—appearing as an elegant object in daylight while producing a soft, floating glow after dark—all within the constraints of cost-efficient manufacturing.
